But for now, let’s be honest. Life is hard as a woman.
We are juggling a million things at the same time.
It can feel exhausting and demanding.
We can fight fear, worry, and disappointment.
We are bombarded by every side with what we should be doing and how things are “supposed” to look.
We may feel pressured to make a good impression, find approval, and say and do all the right things.
And a lot of times we don’t feel strong, confident, or brave.
We fight feelings of failure and loneliness and sometimes we want to hide rather than fight for good.
Kindness can seem difficult. Decisions feel overwhelming. Circumstances threaten to dictate and steal our peace and joy.
Our frustrations can give way to isolation, loneliness, and depression.
There is Hope
But this life-the one God has blessed us with also brings tremendous blessing and fulfillment.
There are times of ecstatic joy and thrilling victories.
We can see our feet dancing when they feel broken.
Friends surround us and we feel strong despite the defeat.
It can take extreme grace, grit, courage, and perseverance to continue day in and day out.
God Walks with Us
Despite this, we are reminded over and over in Scripture that God loves us deeply and whispers our names.
He desires us to thrive and live the abundant life He promises in His word.
We CAN overcome fear and anxiety.
We have a friend who walks closely beside us and encourages us to be confident, brave, and courageous.
Wherever you find yourself in this season of your story, please know that you have a friend here.
Please hear me clearly.
